Uber Ride Cost Rs 3000 For 50 km
Shravankumar Suvarna is a Mumbai resident who booked a rider to his home from around 50 km away. However, to his surprise, the UberGo price was Rs 3,041, while the Premier would cost Rs 4,081 and the UberXL showed Rs 5,159 for the same ride. This is outrageous that people have to pay that much amount for such small distances. But it could be argued that these days, the Mumbai rains play a huge role in these fares. Additionally, the peak hour surge prices also apply to the fare taking the number to such high levels.

He shared the screenshot of this ride on his Twitter handle which has garnered over 3,000 likes from the users. In fact, this turned into a hilarious exchange between people who made some jokes about the sheer disbelief of it all. People are seen comparing these prices to flight ticket prices which are also around the same for travel between Mumbai and Goa. Other users compared these prices to the rent of a 1BHK apartment in the city outskirts.
