As a matter of fact, people across the border in Pakistan are also impressed by the Scorpio N. Pak Public Reacts To Mahindra Scorpio N
The video is in the interview format where the host is showing the trailer video of the Scorpio N to random people on the streets. He asks people if they are car lovers. After showing them the video, he asks their opinion about the SUV. All of them are amazed at the features, looks and powertrain options of the Scorpio N. They feel like this SUV belongs to a luxury segment and compares it with the luxury SUVs available in Pakistan. When asked about the price, people guessed the price to be around Rs 1 Crore (in Pakistan currency). This roughly translates to INR 38 lakh.

However, the Scorpio N ranges from INR 12.99 lakh to INR Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom. These are the prices for manual variants with petrol and diesel mills. Nevertheless, the fact that the public in Pakistan thinks that this car is worth Rs 1 Crore (INR Rs 38 lakh) speaks volumes about the impression that it leaves on people who lay their eyes on it. The premium features that we have seen on the XUV700 earlier have seeped through to the new Scorpio as well which makes the cabin look luxurious and premium. Add to that the hardcore off-roading technology making it a default choice for adventure-seekers.

Specs
The new Scorpio N comes with a 2.0-litre mStallion direct-injection turbo petrol engine that produces 200 PS and 380 Nm, a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 132 PS / 300 Nm in lower variant, and a massive 175 PS / 400 Nm of peak power and torque on higher variants. There are manual and automatic transmission options to choose from along with the 4×4 drivetrain. The prices of the automatic and 4×4 versions will be revealed later this month while the rest of the lineup ranges between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom. These are introductory prices and will be only applicable for the first 25,000 bookings.
