Hyundai Motor India Ltd, one of the leading carmakers in the country, has revealed the highly updated Venue. The refreshed B-SUV will go on sale on June 16, while its bookings are open from today for Rs 21,000. Those interested can order the 2022 Hyundai Venue at any authorized dealership or on the company’s Click to Buy online platform.

2022 Hyundai Venue Alexa and Google Voice Assistant
Along with featuring a handful of styling changes, the new Hyundai Venue 2022 will offer enhanced connectivity options. These will enable the user to control several vehicle functions from the comfort of his home. The customer can perform multiple functions and check his vehicle status through Home to Car (H2C) with Alexa support and Google Voice Assistant. The interface offers support for English as well as Hindi language. Through H2C, a user can use the below features –

Meanwhile, the Bluelink provides customers with over 60 features to enhance their overall connected car experience. Some of the segment-first features here include Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) update and Embedded Voice Commands. The infotainment unit supports 12 languages, including 10 local languages – Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Oriya.

Design, Styling & Colours
The 2022 Hyundai Venue features a new styling package as per the carmaker’s Sensuous Sportiness design language. As per the carmaker, the refreshed model creates the ‘next Lit Space that is trendy, unique, stylish and upbeat.’ On the whole, the updated sub-compact SUV does look bolder than before. At the front-end, it gets the signature parametric grille that will be even seen on the upcoming next-gen Tucson. The new styling feature accentuates the width of the front-end. The split headlamp setup has been carried over from the earlier model but the bumper gets wider air dams.

The side profile stays largely unchanged save for the trendy new alloy wheels. At the rear, the biggest highlight is the new lighting package that comprises an LED light bar running between the taillamps. The bumper is new, too, and gets a new skid plate. It features the reverse lights and rear fog lamps. The 2022 Venue will be available in 7 colour options, including-

2022 Hyundai Venue Specs & Features
For the first time ever, the Hyundai Venue will come with Drive Mode Select feature that will enable the user to fine-tune the performance as per the requirement. The driving modes on offer will include – Normal, Eco and Sport modes. Another novelty feature will be the 1st in Segment 2 Step Rear Reclining Seat. Yet another huge update comes in the form of the introduction of acousting sound feature. Dubbed Sounds of Nature, this first-in-segment feature will provide users with a serene driving experience regardless of the outside environment.
The specifications, though, are expected to stay unchanged. This means the new Maruti Brezza- and Tata Nexon-rival will continue to sell with three engine options- 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel. Of these, the turbo-petrol variant is available with 7-speed DCT option. Other than the Brezza and the Nexon, the new model will even rival Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
