2022 Hyundai Venue Styling
Restyled as per Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness theme, the 2022 Venue has a bold and premium appeal. In the words of the carmaker, the new model creates the ‘next Lit Space that is trendy, unique, stylish and upbeat.’ Overall, the refreshed B-SUV exudes a bolder persona than before. Up front, the popular sub-compact SUV features the signature parametric grille that accentuates the width of the front facade. This design feature will be even seen on the next-gen Tucson that is programmed for an August 2022 launch. The split headlamp setup has been retained. The bumper, though, gets wider air dams.

In the side profile, the 2022 Hyundai Venue remains almost the same as the outgoing model. The only visible change is courtesy of new alloy wheels. The rear-end, however, receives a plethora of updates. The biggest talking point of the posterior is the set of connected LED taillamps that feature a light bar running between the two lighting elements. Even the bumper is new and houses a revised skid plate. Also, the reverse lights and fog lamps should be located here.

Other Details
Details of the interior are yet to be released. That said, one can safely expect a host of additions to the list of comfort- and convenience-enhancing features. The specifications are likely to stay untouched, which means the Maruti Brezza- and Tata Nexon-rival will continue to offer three engine options. These include a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel. The turbo-petrol variant is even available with an optional 7-speed DCT. Other than the aforementioned adversaries, the 2022 Hyundai Venue will lock horns with Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Mahindra XUV300.
