A social media influencer has expressed her frustration after facing several issues with her brand new Skoda Slavia.
Harsha Kripalani, a Chartered Accountant and Fashion & Lifestyle Influencer, regrets buying a Skoda Slavia after the premium mid-size sedan started showing issues within the first 1000 km. Now, the Slavia has been praised by industry experts and customers alike for its dynamic and spirited performance with a peppy engine. However, the EPC and other errors have crippled its image a bit which is what Harsha has been exposed to recently.

Influencer Regrets Buying Skoda Slavia
Being a social media influencer, she took to social media to express her dissatisfaction with Skoda Slavia. She mentions how happy she was to purchase the Slavia after years of hard work. But the entire ownership experience has been ruined by severe issues in the car before even completing 1000 km. Within the first month itself, the Slavia suddenly lost power and stopped responding to driver input while displaying ERROR: Auto Start/Stop and EPC on the instrument cluster. The brand new car has to be sent away to the service centre which was returned back to her the next after a software update.

However, just 11 days after this incident, she encounter the dreaded EPC error that was quite prevalent with the Kushaq mid-size SUV. This time, however, the sedan remains in the service centre for 20 days with the service centre staff not exactly being able to diagnose and fix the issue permanently. The list of issues includes EPC Error, Auto Start/Stop, System Voltage Low (P0562) and Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input (P0113).

The service centre staff asked her to read the manual which says that she will need to keep bringing the car to the service centre every time she faces these errors. It is quite ridiculous that the professional staff is not able to find a permanent solution for these errors making the car utterly unreliable for Harsha who travels at odd hours due to the nature of her work. We hope that Skoda works on these issues to find a permanent solution so that its customers don’t have to suffer like this.
