Tata Harrier Falls Into A Pit Due To Overspeeding
The video has been posted on YouTube. The incident has been reported from Uttarakhand. The black SUV, unfortunately, ended up in a pit as a result of overspeeding. The driver was not able to control the SUV. According to the information in the video, there were 2 passengers in the vehicle. Owing to the tough build quality and safety equipment offered by Tata Harrier, no one was seriously injured. The visuals show a crane that must’ve pulled the SUV out from the gorge. There are damages to the vehicle with deformed door panels and fenders. Nevertheless, it successfully managed to keep the occupants safe.

Tata Harrier comes with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that belts out 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. The transmission duties are carried out by either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The prices of the Harrier range between Rs 14.65 lakh and Rs 21.95 lakh, ex-showroom. The direct rivals include the likes of Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector. The official GNCAP test will verify the rating, but looking at how it has performed in unfortunate instances, it is bound to get a high rating.
