Talk about the C-Segment (sedan segment) of the automobile market and the one common word that you would hear is Verna. Yes we are talking about the very successful Hyundai Verna Fluidic which is selling like hotcakes. If you start mentioning the good things about the car the list comes out to be really long and the reason for this is the unmatched fluidic design and class leading features.
It is a complete car but even the best of the best have one or two things against them. Specifically with the Verna, it has to be the suspension which is very disappointing. Because of the not so good suspension the car lacks high speed stability and sharp handling, two of the most desired things in a good car.

In fact it is the poor stability and handling that forced many buyers to go with much better choices like Fiat Linea and 2011 Ford Fiesta. Now believing in the speculations, Hyundai could soon upgrade the suspension of the car so that it becomes a complete package.
As of today the Verna uses McPherson struts at the front of the car while at the rear sports Torsion Beam Axle. These are supposed to get a new upgrade soon, thereby making the car much more stable at high speeds and corners. As against the softer suspension offered now, it will come with a stiffer arrangement. Although nothing is confirmed as of now but the upgrade could incur a small hike in the price of the car. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
