Updated Tata Tigor EV
The new Tata Tigor EV has been in the testing phase for a while. It is said to be a long-range version with a bigger battery pack. However, the updated Tata Tigor EV will come with a new suspension setup and more ground clearance. As of now, there is no information about the powertrain of the new 2022 Tata Tigor EV. The current version comes with a 26kWh battery that can be charged from 0-80 percent in 8.5 hours. It offers an output of 75PS/ 170Nm and has an ARAI-claimed range of 306km.
Updated Tata Nexon EV
The electric subcompact SUV is getting a mid-life update. It will come with a bigger battery and an improved range. The next-gen Tata Nexon EV is expected to be backed by a 40kWh battery (up from the existing 30.3kWh battery) that offers a range of over 400km on a single charge. There will also be noticeable styling changes on the outside. Additional features might include selectable regeneration modes, cruise control, electronic stability control, park mode, ventilated seats, and a ‘Park’ mode.

Tata Altroz EV
In addition to the new Tata Tiago EV and Tata Nexon EV, the Indian carmaker is expected to launch the Tata Altroz EV in the country. As of now, the company has not revealed the specs and other details of the electric hatchback. However, it is said to get Nexon EV’s powertrain. Additionally, the updated Tata Altroz EV will come with the updated Ziptron electric technology (seen on the long-range Nexon EV). On the outside, the upcoming EV is likely to look similar to the concept design shared during the 2020 Auto Expo.
