After working together in Golmaal, Sharman Joshi has now starred opposite Rohit Shetty in a TVC for OLX Autos
Sharman Joshi starred in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal back in 2006. The two have once again collaborated but this time around, both of them are seen on the screen for the TVC for OLX Autos. Shetty is shown on the set of one of his films, which are pretty well-known for unrealistic stunts, flying cars, et al. In this ad, he is seen selling his flying Tata Sumo to Sharman, who poses as a representative of OLX Autos.

The short clip starts with Rohit Shetty explaining his film crew about the car chase sequence and showing them how the cars would fly. At that moment, Sharman Joshi, who poses as an OLX Autos representative, arrives at the film set and asks Rohit if he wants to sell his car. Rohit then asks him if he has seen ‘Golmal’, to which Joshi replies in affirmative as he was the part of the first movie of the franchisee. He says, “Yes. I have watched only the first Golmaal, after that I lost interest.” Rohit then tells him that he wants to sell a flying car from one of his movies. Sharman asks if it’s from Golmaal or Singham but is told that it’s one of the cars from Simmba.

Next, he points out to a red Tata Sumo hanging up in the air and ask Sharman to provide a quotation for the vehicle. He asks, “So how much are you gonna pay for my car?” Sharman then does some quick calculations and reveals the amount on a calculator. Seeing it, Rohit exclaims,“Arre Wah. Do car aur udaao.” Reacting on the funny TVC, Raveena Tandon and Varun Dhawan left laughing emojis in the comments section of the video. Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh wrote, “Haha you are fab.”Kunal Khemu, another actor of Golmal, said, “Haha. Samajh raha hun mein super stuff.” Shilpa Shetty said, “Ha ha ha acting bhi .. wah sirrrrrr.”

Next, a fan commented,“We want Sharman Joshi back in the Golmaal series.” Another fan wrote, “Now people will see the cars in his films and then will go to Olx to buy them for cheap. Wow.” Rohit has previously said that all the vehicles seen in the action sequences of his movies are still with him as never discards them. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Rohit said,“They are all with me. Of course, if a car has crashed [in the film], then we can’t do anything. But we try to keep the rest of the cars. We sometimes use these again in the next films, but otherwise, they just stay in the basement. It’s becoming like a museum. Sometimes I take them out for a spin.”
