The impact was so severe that the City toppled over and ended up with the roof resting on the ground. However, the occupants escaped unscathed owing to rugged build quality. The images show that the sedan has not received too much damage to the other parts. Such performance and official safety rating at the GNCAP for the upcoming model could prove to be a great draw for people looking for safer family cars.

Honda City Hybrid
The main talking point about the upcoming City hybrid is its engine that is capable of being driven in pure electric mode in addition to hybrid or pure engine mode. The 1.5-litre petrol engine is coupled with two electric motors, one of which powers the wheels, while the other acts as an integrated starter-generator. The combined output of this unique powertrain stands at a decent 126 hp and 253 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties will be carried by e-CVT automatic gearbox. The City hybrid boasts of an impressive best-in-class mileage of 26.5 km/l.

The launch of the City Hybrid is bound to occur in a few weeks with the booking already opened. Honda will reveal the prices of the City hybrid at the launch but we reckon the hybrid sedan could wear a price tag of somewhere around Rs 20 lakh.
