The Scorpio has been a workhorse for Mahindra for decades now and this latest video of it taking on 2 Brezzas is the precise reason for its popularity and fan-following.

Maruti Brezza, on the other hand, is a widely popular product in the compact SUV segment primarily designed for urban applications. Mahindra Scorpio vs Maruti Brezza – Tug of War
Before we begin, we must advise our readers to not try such stunts as they can cause long-term damage to vehicles. The YouTuber decides to have a tug of war between the Scorpio with the Brezza petrol alone where the Scorpio completely destroys the latter. The same fate befalls the diesel variant of the Brezza. But no one was prepared for what happened next. The Youtuber decided to tie the Scorpio with both the Brezza SUVs at the same time and perform a tug of war. Now, the Scorpio may well be powerful and rugged, but one can’t expect it to handle 2 compact SUVs at the same time.

Once the tug of war began, the Scorpio showed just how powerful it is. It managed to pull the 2 SUVs for a little distance. When the other 2 SUVs tried to accelerate, they were not able to move the Scorpio one bit. This shocked everyone despite knowing how powerful the Scorpio is. The surface is not ideal for a tug of war but that didn’t affect the performance of the Scprio that comes with 4WD for enhanced traction in such conditions.

Specs
While the official specifications of the upcoming 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will be revealed closer to the launch, the Scorpio is expected to come powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that might be tuned to produce 130 hp and a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine that produces 150 hp. These engines are similar to the ones powering the new Thar. The transmission duties would be carried by a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The current prices of the Scorpio range between Rs 13.18 lakh and Rs 18.21 lakh, ex-showroom. The new version will most likely feature a slight premium over these prices.
