Mahindra and Mahindra has revealed the list of selected applications which have been selected in the second round of booking of Mahindra XUV500 in India. M&M has received over 25000+ applications for XUV5OO in just 10 days of booking window between 25th of January and 3rd of February. To keep the waiting period under control, M&M has selected a draw system to select 7200 buyers whose booking will be accepted and the deliveries will be made in next 60 to 90 days duration depending on the availability of the variants. The official draw has been concluded on 14t of February 2012 and the list of selected applications has also been made available on the official website.

Mahindra conducted a city-wise draw to ensure a fair chance for all applicants during the second phase of bookings, across the 19 cities. Applicants not selected in the draw are entitled to the refund of the deposit amount of Rs. 80,000/-. Winning applicants will be notified by the respective dealerships and the winning serial numbers have been published on the XUV500 website here. Applicants can also call a toll-free number, 1800-266-7000 to get information about the XUV500 draw results.
The draw process was validated by the professional services firm, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Pvt. Ltd (DTTIPL)* as per mutually agreed scope & terms between M&M and DTTIPL. The reason behind this overwhelming demand for the XUV is two folds – one is the high value for money proposition of the XUV500 and other is limited production capacity which will be hiked soon in a couple of months to further reduce the waiting period. M&M has recently launched the Mahindra Xylo 2012 facelifted new model (Also read – Mahindra Xylo 2012 New Model– First Impressions and Video Review) which is also getting good attention with its unique voice command technology and premium features in the newly added top end Xylo E9 variant with powerful turbocharged mHawk Engine.
