The new teaser image gives a clear look at the e”HEV badge along with also revealing the the car will continue featuring the badges for the variant nomenclature. It also shows that the hybrid variant will be sold even in the non-RS variants as well. It will look almost entirely like the standard model with the only discrepancies arising out of the additional badges and black bits replacing the chrome trim. That said, the mechanical differences will be aplenty.
Inside, the car will carry an all-black theme instead of the dual-tone beige-black affair seen on the top model. The equipment will be carried over from the top-spec ZX model of the ICE version, while the new model could even get the ADAS features seen on the Thai-spec car. These would include lane departure prevention, lane departure warning, collision avoidance, automatic high beam, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
