A leading manufacturer of PIB (Polyisobutylene), the company has gifted all its 142 employees, bicycles to commute. PIB is used to produce adhesives, lubricants, sealants, fuel additives, etc. With the company expanding, it is ensuring that it reduces its carbon print as well. That is when it decided to perform this gesture to encourage the employees living nearby to commute using cycles. In this way, they are able to do their bit to affect the environment positively.
The company has been promoting green solutions to arrange for its employees’ mobility around the facility for years now. It had reportedly asked the entire workforce to pedal to work on World Environment Day last year. Such gestures reflect where the company is focusing and from the environment’s point of view, it is headed in the right direction.
