To be unveiled tomorrow, the new SUV will go on sale in May 2022.
Sharing the underpinnings with the Compass, the Meridian can be viewed as a 3-row sibling with upto 7 seats.
Even though it carries over many elements from the Jeep Compass, a Grand Cherokee inspiration can be noticed in some parts.
4,769mm long, 1,859mm wide and 1,682mm tall, the Jeep Meridian is 364mm longer, 41mm wider and 42mm taller than the Compass and similar to Commander.
Jeep Meridian will be powered by an updated 2.0L MultiJet II diesel engine that will likely offer 200hp-400Nm. Transmission options could include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic, while the latter will be sold with 4x4 option.
