With the frontal look of the new Mahindra Xylo, it is very clear that the frontal fascia of the new Xylo 2012 gets a facelift on the grille, placement of the Mahindra and Mahindra Logo, and the headlamps also seem to have been slightly modified. There are two noticeable black colored nudge guards at the bottom side ends of the front bumper bulging out to protect the sides of the body colored bumpers from scratches. These are the most common areas where we can find scratches because of rubbing against other vehicles or obstacles in large cars or MPVs in India.
On the side of the new Xylo, the profile is almost same but there is noticeably larger rear spoiler integrated in the rear panel of the Xylo, the Side pillars are all blackened in colour for a more sporty appeal. Also there is change in the rear tail lamp cluster design which is visible from the side profile. There are side body moldings and black lining above the wheel on the wheel-arches on the sides which also add a sporty look to the Xylo overall.
The BS4 Sticker on the fuel tank lid confirms that it’s a BS4 compliant engine, but we don’t have any details about the type and displacement as of now. You can check the link to official launch which will be added at the bottom of this article after 8th Feb 2012 for complete specifications and details.
On the dashboard, we notice wooden inserts, new style of steering wheel and dual tone colour tone. The interiors seemed to have not gone under major change.
