Slated to launch today, March 15, 2022, the teaser video of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 is already doing rounds on the internet.
The TVC of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 has leaked online prior to the launch. The city-friendly version of the Himalayan, the Scram 411 is designed to be used in a combination of city and off-road scenarios. This warrants skipping a few features in favour of affordable price and practicality. The video showcases the Scram in city conditions with slight hints at off-road usage. Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411
The images and spy videos have surfaced earlier too. They highlighted the styling elements of the Scram 411 which include things like rounded headlights with halogen lights, omission of a windshield to indicate major city usage, single-seat setup, prominent shoulder shrouds, smaller tyres, spoked wheels, sump guards for engine protection for occasional off-road adventures, a metal cowl upfront, deletion of jerry can holders, sporty side body panels, LED taillamps and turn indicators, reduced ground clearance, etc.
The instrument cluster will be a bit simpler compared to the Himalayan with a dual-pod layout like the Meteor 350. However, it would most likely feature the Royal Enfield Tripper navigation as optional. All in all, the Scram 411 is an ideal candidate for people who are not into regular off-roading habits but use the motorcycle for daily use. For those rare adventurous rides to the mountains or on some dirt track, the Scram 411 has enough hardware capabilities to ensure a stress-free ride.

RE Himalayan Scram 411 Specs
The Scram 411 will feature the same engine as the Himalayan which is a 411-cc single-cylinder air oil-cooled engine that outputs 24 PS and 32 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. It will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The dual-channel ABS would be standard across the range. The expected prices of the RE Scram 411 would hover somewhere around Rs 1.90 lakh, ex-showroom. It will lock horns against the likes of Yezdi Scrambler, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Honda CB350 RS.
