Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most successful cars in the Indian market for a good part of the last 2 decades. Here is what it is capable of doing in its international guise.
Have you heard of the 4×4 version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift that is capable of treading through deep snow? Well, here is one such instance. Swift is among the all-time highest-selling vehicles in our market. Its affordability, high mileage, low maintenance cost and reliability related to the brand along with decent styling have been some of its key attractions that have kept the consumers glued to the hatchback. This video clip depicts what it can do in its international trims.

Suzuki Swift 4×4 in Snow
The video is recorded in an area where the snow is pretty deep. Judging by the exteriors, it looks like the latest generation model that is on sale in India. The overall silhouette is similar to the one sold in India. Also, the tyres on the vehicle look like winter tyres or off-roading tyres with distinct treads to propel it through the snow or wet conditions. The driver of the Suzuki Swift drives the car forward in deep snow without any signs of major slippage. He makes a U-turn in thick snow and is seen doing it quite comfortably despite the engine switching off once. But apart from that, there is no loss of traction. However, it must be mentioned that there is no slope or ice that are actually challenging for any car. But it still provides an idea as to how well could the Swift be used in fresh and moderate snow.
