Bizzare incidents keep coming up on the Indian roads and this Nilgai seen stuck inside the windscreen of the Maruti Brezza is a bit difficult to watch.
A video of a Nilgai being stuck inside the windscreen of a Maruti Brezza has surfaced. The Indian roads are notorious for throwing up unique and bizarre obstacles in the way of the drivers. That is precisely the reason why driving in India is considered dangerous and challenging. Brezza is the only 4-star safety rated product in Maruti Suzuki’s India portfolio. The largest carmaker in the country is not well-known for building cars with strong build quality but Brezza is one of the exceptions. Check out how it fares when it collides with a Nilgai.

Nilgai Stuck in Windscreen of Maruti Brezza
The video has been uploaded on YouTube and requires viewers’ discretion. It shows a sad sight of a Nilgai stuck inside the windshield of the compact SUV. The details of the accident are unknown but it is fairly simple to understand that the animal must’ve come on the road suddenly and the driver might not have been able to apply brakes in time. The Nilgai is seen struggling to free itself from the glass and blood starts oozing out of its neck after a while. The bystanders are seen trying to free the animal but it is not allowing it out of fear. We urge drivers to be careful while driving through the plantations because animals could behave in an unpredictable way and cause such accidents.
Specs
The Maruti Brezza comes with the option of a sole 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 105 hp and 138 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There is either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option to choose from. There were rumours of the diesel powertrain making a comeback with the updated Brezza but Maruti has not confirmed anything. The distinguishing feature on the upcoming updated Brezza will be an electric sunroof making it the first product from the carmaker to have that feature.
