The 2022 Maruti Baleno is all set to hit the Indian market. Now, a new video has revealed some of the top features of the new facelift.
The Maruti Baleno is one of the most successful premium hatchbacks in the Indian market. Now, it is all set to get a new update. The next-generation Maruti Baleno will feature an evolved design with modern aesthetics. Since the first batch is ready for shipment to the dealerships, several images of the upcoming car have surfaced online. It has also been revealed that the top spec new Baleno facelift will have an HUD, 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment unit and a a 360-degree camera. Let’s take a closer look:

As you can see in the above image, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno 2022 has a familiar look but still looks fresh. On the front, you can see a wider grille with a more sophisticated pair of LED headlights. The rear quarter glass is also new and features new chrome trim. The rear-end carries twin-port taillights. The climate control will feature new toggle switches. The upcoming car will get a new set of alloy wheels, 6 airbags, a flat-bottom steering wheel, an AMT gearbox, and cruise control.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno was first launched in 2015. With the upcoming model, the company is also targeting a 5-star score in Global NCAP ratings. Along with six airbags, it will sport thicker sheet metal and a revised platform. You will get a 360-degree parking camera. Additionally, the new facelift will come with a Heads Up Display (HUD), a wireless smartphone charger, a colored MID for the instrument cluster, Alexa support, and a new dashboard with a free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit.

The current gen is powered by a 1.2-liter Dualjet Dual-VVT petrol engine that offers a maximum power of 90 PS and a peak torque of 113 Nm. It is paired with a standard 5-speed MT and an optional CVT. The 1.2-liter Dualjet petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech offers 90PS 113Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed MT. It comes with LED projector headlights, a rearview camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control, push-button stop/start, and keyless entry. Safety features include rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and dual front airbags.
