Premier initially could not get the required attention with the launch of Premier Rio but the 2012 Premier Rio is a bit more promising that its predecessor and has managed to bring the brand in the limelight(we are not talking about sales here). Most importantly now the company has a BS IV equipped Rio which could be sold in the 13 major cities where BS IV norms are under implementation.
Since the car can now be sold in bigger cities, Premier does need a better sales and service network. For the same the company has started putting in efforts and has announced that they will expand their network across the length and breadth of the country.

This way the company will improve its sales and the customers will be able to get the Rios serviced easily. Premier is planning to set up Premier Authorized Service Stations abbreviated as PASS, all over the country and by June 2012 the same expects to open up a total of 200 such stations.
Mr. Rakesh Mehta, Vice President, said ,“We look at spare parts purely as customer service and not as a profit center. Consequently, our spare parts cost much less than comparable vehicles. Rio customers will not face any problem with sales, parts or service. Premier has been established in the passenger vehicle`s business for over 60 years and we understand the need for strong after sales service and parts distribution,”
Beside offering spare parts at reasonable costs the company is also planning to ramp up its dealership network. As of today the company has 30 dealerships which it wishes to increase to 60 by June 2012. In fact after June the company will become even more aggressive and is determined to take the dealership count to 100 and service station count to 300 by December 2012.
