Toyota is a premium car maker that has always considered going with quality. A few months back the automaker came up with the Etios line-up consisting of Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback. Interestingly this time the brand made a car specific for the Indian market and for that it had to pour in a lot of efforts.
No doubt the car had a strong practical aspect and was expected to be huge hit but for some reason it could not reach out to the hearts of countless indian buyers looking for an affordable and practical car. For us it were the looks and the aesthetics that were not good enough. The exteriors though pleasing, were not sporty enough and look too simple. Coming to the interiors, Toyota managed to design something different but unfortunately it did not work much on the quality of the interiors, which is considered to be a weak point.

But at the 2012 Auto Expo it showcased the Etios with revamped interiors which were much better than the current one. Toyota has made some noticeable changes on the interiors which are as follows:
- The most interesting change brought by Toyota is that the dull grey interiors have been replaced by jet black tone
- Central music system panel gets minor changes
- A silver grey knob replaces the previous red one
- Improved overall fit and finish
- Improved NVH levels making the car quieter at high speeds

The changes are remarkable but if they will help the car in attracting more sales or not is still not known.
