As you can see, a Tata Punch is badly damaged on the front. However, it managed to save the lives of two people. This accident is reported to have occurred on NH7 as the driver was traveling towards Nepal along with his brother. Suddenly, a pickup truck came from the wrong side and hit the side mirror on the Tata Punch. Since the Tata Punch was at approximately the speed of 70kmph, it got a little imbalanced and hit the divider in front. While the front was damaged, the two airbags were deployed perfectly and saved both passengers. The only damage was on the outside and the insides were barely affected. The Tata Punch managed to keep even the engine safe.

It comes with a 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. The five-seater SUV has a ground clearance of 187mm. For safety, the company has added dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking camera. Additional highlights of the new SUV include a 7-inch touchscreen system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, auto AC, and cruise control. It comes in 7 different color options – Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, Calypso Red, Orcus White, and Daytona Grey.
