Modern vehicles come with electronic functions that aid the functioning of cars. Here is one such function in the testing phase.
The 2021 Mahindra Thar comes with an electronic stability function and this test shows the real-world working of the same. Thar is a popular lifestyle off-roader. It has all the hardcore equipment to ensure that it glides through any sort of terrain. In addition to that, it also sports modern features to enhance the convenience of the passengers. It has brilliant 4×4 capabilities with corresponding hardware. One of these features is electronic stability control. This video shows the Thar with this feature and how it behaves in real-world conditions.

Thar Electronic Stability Test
The video clip begins in a testing environment where such tests are performed. It is an empty area where the SUV is pushed to its limits. The driver drives the off-roader at high speed and brakes suddenly. While braking, the SUV is being steered as well. This is a common case that happens on the road every day. However, the electronic stability program ensures that the vehicle doesn’t skid out of control. Many times, the wheels get locked up which is remedied by ABS but the ESP ensures that the wheels get maximum traction even under extreme conditions. This is clearly visible in the video as well. The SUV loses grip momentarily but doesn’t tip over or skid. These features come in handy in off-roading conditions where traction is the key.
