Now, one might think that Mini Cooper and Mr Beans don’t belong in the same sentence, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. SRK Designs have come up with a unique and brilliant Mr Beans edition of the Mini Cooper. Mini Cooper is one of the lesser-known brands in India. Not a lot of people know that it is a subsidiary of BMW. However, the people who are customers of the Mini Cooper tend to have their own loyalty and they just love the Cooper. It is a car with a great heritage in terms of how it is designed. The Mini Cooper reminds one of the Beetles of the past and how cars used to be designed quite more than 50 years ago. But the German carmaker has managed to insert all the comforts of the modern world along with extremely powerful engines to ensure that you don’t get deceived by the cute looks of the premium crossover vehicles. Let us take a look at this Mr Beans edition of the Mini Cooper in detail.

Mr Beans Edition of Mini Cooper
Mini has been notorious for launching unique editions of the Cooper in the past. But this time around, the automobile enthusiast and designer is the one who expresses his innovative ideas through this concept rendering. There are quite a few changes to the original car. To start with, the paint shade itself is a kind of fluorescent colour. It looks uncomfortably catchy to the eye. The front fascia sports a blacked-out bonnet along with the trademark round LED headlamps. The grille area has been redesigned with no grille visible. There is, however, a chrome unit that encapsulates a part of the lower bumper. The chrome ring is surrounded by a black component. The edges of the bumper have aerodynamic openings.

The side profile has also witnessed some alterations. The wheel arches continue to be chunky. But the main point of difference on the sides is due to the unique alloy wheel design. It looks like the designer has borrowed it from something like a Rolls Royce. They look like traditional wheel caps but much more sophisticated in design. The A, B and C-pillars are blacked out to highlight a contrast to the neon paint scheme. The sides only feature two doors as is the case with the regular Cooper too. All in all, it is hard not to associate this edition of the Mini Cooper with Mr Beans himself.
