Here is a hilarious incident of a self-driving Kia Seltos. The mid-size SUV was seen driving itself out of a dealership in Kerala. Such sorts of incidents do happen from time to time due to careless management in dealership showrooms. As one could imagine, the staff at showrooms remain busy with the customers. Also, the customers sometimes get in the car and alter the gearbox settings for no particular reason at all. Hence, it becomes difficult to keep track of such things at all times. Seltos is one of the most popular SUVs in the segment and it is understood that a ton of potential customers visit the showrooms to see the car in person. Here are the details of the entire incident taped on camera.

“Self Driving” Kia Seltos
The incident is reported to have taken place in Kerala. The video is taped on the CCTV camera installed outside the showroom. A parked Seltos is seen driving in reverse. An official tried to get behind the SUV to prevent it from sliding backwards as the speed is not too high. But he couldn’t slow down the heavy SUV. By the time the rest of the staff joins in, the vehicle is sped away outside the dealership parameter onto the road. The highway looks busy but there doesn’t seem to be any mishap due to the Seltos. However, we don’t know what happens because the SUV is driven outside the range of the CCTV camera. It could’ve happened if someone accidentally forgot to engage the parking brake.
