The Mahindra XUV700 has only commenced sales and the first-ever pic of damage on the SUV is already out. The XUV700 is one of the most promising products coming out of Mahindra in a while. This is a huge compliment as the XUV300 is one of the most feature-packed products in its segment. The XUV700 has been launched in a 5-seat configuration and the 7-seat version is set to launch soon. Together, the XUV700 will dominate the entire mid-size SUV segment because of multiple seating arrangements. The prices of some variants in the 5-seat version have already been announced. This pic shows damage to the SUV, the details of which are still unknown. Read the post below for more information.

Pic of Damage to Mahindra XUV700
The image highlights that this is the top AX7 trim of the mid-size SUV in a blue paint shade that we saw in a few reviews as well. The rear end of the SUV is clearly visible with a prominent dent on the right side of the bumper. The bumper, along with the skid plate seems to be damaged and quite severely too. The reverse parking sensor has sustained damage as well. It looks like the impact has been caused by a relatively sharp object as the other areas are unaffected. This also brings forth the issue of the plastic tailgate of the XUV700. Although this part lies underneath that, one could think that the structural integrity might have been compromised. However, many cars use plastics at various parts of the exterior to achieve the desired shape. It is not possible to bend metal so much, which is why carmakers use strong plastics.
