Ford EcoSport Engine Power Loss Issue
The owner, Abhishek Pandey, had posted these images on the Ford EcoSport Owners in India page on Facebook. The images are of the opened engine. He shares that the SUV was giving jerks and there was a sudden loss of power which has also happened to some other owners. As a result, he took the car to the service centre and they had to open up the engine which is a major repair. The SUV is relatively new (purchased in December 2020). The owner tells that the exhaust manifold and engine head had to be replaced. This comes as a shock that the engine components of a vehicle had to be replaced in just 9 months of purchase. Now, he is disappointed that his car is sitting in the garage for 3 days. Ford really has to look into these incidents thoroughly to find a solution timely before these negative sentiments crawl into the facelifted version of the SUV too.
