Citroen C3 compact SUV is the next product from the French carmaker. Unlike the C5 Aircross, the C3 is meant for mass-market. Owing to heavy levels of localization, Citroen intends to keep the price of the C3 in check and at par with the rivals like the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. The compact SUV space is the most crowded segment in the Indian automobile market. Also, even first-time buyers are considering the option of buying a compact SUV since the prices of the compact SUVs are more affordable than ever. Citroen has already established itself as a unique brand that focuses on modern tech and the comfort of the passengers with its premium SUV, C5 Aircross. Now, it will try to penetrate the compact SUV segment with the C3. It has been spotted testing multiple times and the debut might happen sometime in September. Here are some things that we can expect from the Citroen C3 compact SUV.

Exterior Design
From the spy images we have seen so far, it is clear that the C3 will sport Citroen-specific unique exteriors which the French automaker is known for. The cube theme will be on display all across the body of the C3 as well. It might feature LED headlamps with DRLs, squared-theme all over the exterior including the front bumpers and side body panels, stylish allow wheels, roof rails, LED tail lamps, roof spoiler and that square theme on the bumper and much more. One thing is for sure that even though there are around 10 compact SUVs in our market, the C3 will have its distinct appearance.

Expected Interiors and Features
The cube theme will continue on the inside as well, as is the case with every Citroen. The spy video has shown features like a Digital Instrument Cluster, a free-floating Touchscreen Infotainment Display, 3-Spoke Steering Wheel Layout, Controls on the steering wheel, All-black Interiors. Apart from that, it will most likely come with Automatic Climate Control, Uniquely Designed Air-Con Vents, Cruise Control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and other tech features.

Citroen C3 Specs
Although there have not been too many updates on what Citroen is planning to power the C3, we expect a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine making 130 hp of peak power. The transmission duties might be carried by a 5-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The prices might range somewhere between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh, ex-showroom. The rivals in the segment include the likes of Venue, Sonet, Nexon, Vitara Brezza, XUV300, Kiger, Magnite and more.
