This video shows a drag race between the Meteor 350 and Thunderbird 350 X. Now, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 essentially replaces the Thunderbird 350 X in the cruiser segment. The Meteor 350 has been fairly updated, both in terms of specifications and features, in comparison to the Thunderbird 350 X. Originally, Royal Enfield saw a potential and demand in the market for cruiser bikes and introduced the Thunderbird to test the waters. The results were overwhelming and the trend of cruiser bikes in the 350 cc segment caught on. So, it makes sense to do a drag race competition between these two bikes (which are essentially the same) to figure out what Royal Enfield has updated with the Meteor 350.

Meteor 350 vs Thunderbird 350 X – Drag Race
The YouTuber starts the race by doing an acceleration test of the two cruiser bikes. It is essential to note that the Meteor 350 comes with an electronic speed limiter at 120 mph and the Thunderbird 350 X does not. Therefore, to make things comparative, the performance until 120 kmph is considered. The Meteor 350 X, being the latest version and high on power, crushes the Thunderbird 350 X by quite a large margin. The gap between the two bikes even in a short span of time is noticeable. To make things even, the bikers exchanged the bikes as well so that the argument of different body weights on bikes could be eliminated. However, after multiple trials and bike switching, the result remained unaffected.
