The 5th-gen Honda City now has an important addition to its features list with Google Assistant. Honda is currently selling both (4th and 5th-gen) models simultaneously in our market. This has proved to be its winning strategy in achieving high sales figures in its segment. Part of the reasons for the City’s success includes an already long features list and fun-to-drive engines. In a bid to cement its place at the top, City owners will now be able to utilize the Google Assistant features. Here is a list of features that will be enabled with the introduction of Google Assistant.

2021 Honda City Google Assistant Features
The Honda Action launch on Google is the extension and upgradation of NextGen Honda Connect. Modern cars come with their own connected features these days and Google Alexa was already a part of its feature list in the past. The Google Assistant will activate features like Voice-Activated Features, Google Assistant-Enabled Devices like Google Nest Speakers, Android Phones, Other Devices, Text-Based Command Functionality and more.

Other performance and engine-related features include Valet Alert to ensure the safety of the car while given to the driver for parking, Fuel Log Analysis, Maintenance Analysis, Service-Related Features, Communication Between The Owner and Familly. Overall, the convenience, safety mileage and maintenance aspects will be taken care of by the addition of Google Assistance Features in the Honda City. Slowly, these features will be expanded to other Honda products as well.

The City has Exclusive Leather Black and Beige Colour Tone on the interiors along with Glossy Dark Wood on the Instrument Panel, Soft TouchPads on the inside. There is an 8-inch Digital Touchscreen Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa Controls, a 7-inch High Definition Full Colour TFT Meter, Bluetooth and Connected Car Tech Connectivity, Voice Commands, Steering Mounted Controls, Cruise Control, Electric Sunroof, 8-speaker Premium Audio System, Fully-Automatic Climate Control, Ambient Lighting, Height Adjustable Driver Seat and much more.

The Honda City comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine making 121 PS of peak power and 145 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission. The other powertrain includes a 1.5-litre diesel engine making 100 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The fifth-generation Honda City starts at Rs 10.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 14.94 lakh, ex-showroom.
