MG Motors commenced their Indian innings with the Hector back in June 2019. The debut vehicle from the SAIC-owned British carmaker was quick to make everyone sit up and take notice and even went on to become a sales success. To put things in perspective, the SUV had garnered over 30,000 bookings within 3 months of launch and went on to leave a dent in the sales of its rivals (read: Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos). Currently, the entry-level MG Hector has been priced at Rs 13.17 lakh, ex-showroom, the MG Hector ends up holding a considerable price advantage over any of its rivals. While this SUV enjoys fairly high popularity, it’s not too popular in the modification circles with very few owners deciding to customize it to suit their tastes. Today, however, we’ve got images of an MG Hector that has been given a Gold wrap for that super-bold look.

A reason not many people modify the MG Hector is that most of its buyers are mature people in their mid-life. However, thanks to increased purchasing power, there is definitely a younger clientele who’s not only buying this SUV but also customising it. Earlier, we’ve seen examples of the Hector with matt black and chrome wraps. The model we have with us today, however, is the only known example of a Hector with a Gold wrap.
Well, we aren’t too fond of such loud paint jobs but we must say that this particular example is definitely an eyeball-magnet with its one-of-a-kind appearance. Also, the wrap certainly goes well with Hector’s stylish front-end and many chrome bits it carries. While it’s tough to figure out the quality of wrap used, the execution is definitely pretty good. This can be made out from how well the wrap has been applied to take the shape of every crease and line on this vehicle. Some people want their vehicle to have a bold look to help them stand out and this customized Hector will surely have a high appeal among such car users.
