Safety & Build Quality
Tata is known for making solid and rugged products with high safety characteristics. In fact, Tata gave India its first 5-star safety-rated Nexon. Tiago is no different and hence, features among the safest cars in the segment. Mileage
Mileage is something that a lot of people don’t immediately attach to Tata products. However, this owner claims to have achieved mileage figures of around 22 kmpl on a highway. He does mention that one can expect such kind of fuel economy if he/she drives with a light foot under 100 kmph consistently.

Handling
Another important aspect of Tata products lies in the handling department. The engineers at Tata have worked hard on achieving the perfect balance between a good ride quality (a trait of soft suspension setup) and decent handling (a trait of stiff suspension setup). Therefore, driving a Tiago can be a treat for someone who loves driving.
Features and Space
In spite of being a budget-friendly mid-size hatchback, Tiago comes with all the basic modern features for connectivity and convenience of the passengers and driver. One doesn’t have to miss out on any essential feature or compromise on the space inside the cabin as well as the luggage compartment.

Tata Tiago Ownership Review – Problems
Service Experience
In the department of problems, the owner specifically mentioned a not-so-professional experience at the service center. This is something that Tata needs to work on because this is quite a prevalent fact that a ton of customers and experts talk about. The lack of professionalism and care during the servicing is what gives almost a decisive edge to the likes of Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Their service experience is very professional and efficient.
Engine Refinement
Tata Tiago has a 3-cylinder engine, which translates to getting vibrations inside the cabin. This is a typical small-engine problem but is quite evident in the Tiago. The gear shifting is a bit clunky at times as well.
