Tata Altroz Dark Edition has been launched in India. Tata had been teasing the dark edition version of Harrier, Nexon, Nexon EV and Altroz for quite some time now. Essentially, this sport edition is for the people looking for a premium, unique and sporty experience out of their regular Tata products. Having tried the Dark Edition version of the Harrier as a limited edition, Tata gauged the positive response of the customers and acted immediately. As a result, the Dark Edition department encapsulated the best-sellers of the brand. Here is what the Dark Edition of the safest premium hatchback in the country has to offer.

Tata Altroz Dark Edition Launched – Exterior Design Updates
Being a Dark Editon version, the exteriors of the Altroz differ significantly in comparison to the regular Altroz. In addition to the Cosmo Black paint scheme, there are other bits as well including a Premium Dark Chrome Insert on the hood, blacked-out bumpers, wheel arches, Dark Tint Finished 16-inch Alloy Wheels and the theme continues at the rear too. The Dark mascot is attached on the outside to highlight the theme. Overall, this edition of Altroz accentuates the premium and sporty appearance of the already bold-looking premium hatchback.

Interiors and Features
The Granite Black theme inside the cabin has completely changed the looks of the interiors. There is a touch of metallic gloss Black mid pad along with Leatherette Upholstery with deep Blue Tri-Arrow perforations and deco Blue Stitching enhancing the premium feel of the cabin. The Dark Embroidery on the front headrest lets everyone know which edition of the Altroz they are sitting in. Tata will also be offering Dark Merchandise on the same theme. The Altroz continues to get a 7-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System power by Harman with Hinglish Voice Commands, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8-speaker Audio System, What 3 Words Navigation System, Automatic Climate Control, Express Cooling Function for hot summer days, Cruise Control, 7-inch TFT Digital Instrument Cluster, iRA Connected Car Tech features and more.

The Altroz Dark Edition will be offered as the top-of-the-line XZ+ variant with the petrol engines. The engines include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol good for 88 PS and 113 Nm, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol making 110 PS and 140 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel making 90 PS and 200 Nm of peak output. The XZ+ Dark Edition variant will start at Rs 8.71 lakh for the NA petrol and Rs 9.36 lakh, ex-showroom for the turbo petrol variant.
