Hyundai Alcazar vs MG Hector Plus – Exterior and Dimensions
Hyundai Alcazar features Hyundai’s sensual design language and looks ultra-modern. The front fascia of the Alcazar is clearly inspired by the Creta but there are key differences between the two. It features the Trio-Beam LED Headlamps and DRLs along with the bold and broad front grille with a completely different and attractive pattern with a chrome finish. The usage of chrome on the face is rather generous. The characteristic sculpted creases on the sides are new and the 18-inch Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels are of completely different design as well. The side step will ensure easy ingress and egress for the passengers and the roof rails will enhance the practicality aspect. There is an appearance of a ring structure on the B-Pillar and D-Pillar which looks really sporty and modern and gives an entirely new dimension to the SUV. Hyundai claims that this will improve the rigidity for better handling. The rear end features a split LED taillamp setup along with a thick chrome slab connecting the two tail-lamps and Alcazar engraved on it. The bumper below hosts the sporty skid plate and there is also the shark fin antenna.
The exterior design of the MG Hector features the modern approach as well. The outside of the MG Hector Plus is also inspired by the Hector which means that there are LED Headlamps with LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, bold chrome touched front grille, gunmetal front skid plates, the headlamp unit placed at the lower end of the bumper and the DRLs on the top of the bonnet, 18-inch dual-tone alloys, floating-effect turn indicators, sleek rear LED tail lamps with chrome bar connecting the rear tail lamps. Overall, the SUV is massive in size and certainly commands a great road presence. In this segment, that plays a huge role in customers deciding on a particular car or SUV.
