Volkswagen has been on a bit of a roll lately and the theme seems to be the SUVs. Realizing the growing popularity of SUVs in India, VW has planned to introduce a ton of new products, most of which will be SUVs in our market in 2021. 2021 is deemed as the year for change for the German carmaker as it has finally decided to focus on the India 2.0 initiative along with Skoda to develop products specifically for our market. Skoda Kushaq and VW Taigun have been the first products from that strategy and many more are to follow. Apart from that, VW has now introduced the Taigun in our market which was spotted testing earlier. This is the updated version of the outgoing model and also features bits that are different from the Tiguan Allspace. There are fair few elements to distinguish it from its elder sibling. Let us see what the Volkswagen Tiguan comes with.

2021 VW Tiguan – Exteriors
Not a lot has changed on the outside but still, there are a fair few bits that have been updated to distinguish this model from the previous one. To start with the headlamp unit now is the LED Matrix unit with plenty of new functions including Dynamic LED Cornering Lights and Dynamic Headlight Range Control. Then there is an updated sharper new front grille with 4 Chrome-layer setups along with sharp and pronounced shoulder lines as well as a sportier bumper with layers. The sides are accentuated by the 18-inch Frankfurt design alloy wheels, roof rails and shorter overhangs than the Tiguan Allspace. The rear is also very busy with dark red LED tail lamps with a new signature and a chrome beltline running across the width of the rear bumper and fake exhaust tips. The overall design language is in tune with the latest SUVs from Volkswagen.
