MG is globally pushing the brand towards electrification in a big way for quite some time now. Like various other car manufacturers around the globe, MG has also realized that electrification is the way forward. That doesn’t just mean in terms of mass-market, but also in terms of every other type of car out there. This includes the performance and luxury car segments as well. The supercars are also receiving the electric powertrain to churn out the peak performance from the electric powertrains. The biggest advantage of an electric powertrain is the instant availability of the peak torque. There is no torque build-up as such. At the press of the accelerator pedal, almost the entire torque output is on offer. This makes it extremely useful in performance cars where it is all about the quick responses from the vehicle. That is the reason why we will be seeing more and more electric supercars making it into production in the times to come. This time around, however, we will stick to some news related to the MG Cyberster supercar, which is scheduled for the global unveil on March 31, 2021.
