The Nissan Magnite will be available in five variants – XE, XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O) – and here’s all the features you will be getting with each variant. Lower variants are quite bare bones while top-spec variants are generously loaded.
The Nissan Magnite is soon going to be the newest entrant in the ever expanding sub-compact SUV space. Nissan globally previewed the Magnite earlier last month and the launch is expected towards the end of this month itself, or sometime in November. The carmaker has already revealed several details about the upcoming sub-compact SUV including engine specs, variant details and much more. Now Nissan has completely revealed the variant-wise features of the Magnite. The Magnite will be available in five variants – XE, XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O) – and here’s what you will be getting with each variant.
Nissan Magnite XE
This is the most barebones variant of the Nissan Magnite and it only gets the option of the 72 PS 1.0L, naturally aspirated petrol engine paired only to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Reports suggest that the base XE variant of the Magnite will be priced at just Rs 5.50 lakh and that’s really a stonking price, under cutting all its rivals.

This is however a very basic variant of the Magnite and it comes completely stripped off all the fancy features you usually expect in your car. Although priced very competitively, it may come across as rather bare-bones to many. Here are some of the important misses on the Magnite XE variant.

Nissan Magnite XL
The second in line XL variant of the Nissan Magnite isn’t however as bare bones as the base-spec XE variant. On the powertrain front, it also gets the option of the 1.0L turbo-petrol engine with both the manual and CVT gearbox options. Prices for the XL variant are expected to range from Rs 6.25 to Rs 8.15 lakh. Here’s all the exterior and interior features you’ll get with the XL variant.

Its more decently equipped than the previous variant and should be good value for money as well. Prices for the XV variant are expected to range between Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 8.65 lakh. Powertrain options include the entire range of 1.0L NA and 1.0L turbo-petrol engines.

The XV variant is where you get most of the features the Nissan Magnite has to offer barring a few features that been reserved for the top-spec variant. You can additionally also opt for the Tech Pack that brings in a few more features. Powertrain options include all the ones on offer and prices are expected to range from Rs 8.65 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh.

Nissan Magnite XV Premium (O)
Nissan still hasn’t particularly revealed the exclusive features that have been reserved for the top-spec XV Premium (O) variant, nor are their any reports about the pricing of this variant. It is however known that the XV Premium (O) variant will be solely offered with the 1.0L turbo-petrol engine. Expect more details to surface soon.
