Honda cars are said to have a decent build quality and are quite safe. The latest Honda City got a 5-star safety rating at the ASEAN NCAP which is not so different from ours. Here is an example of the strong build quality of the sedan that you can see in this recent and horrific accident.
This accident happened in West Delhi during night time when the Honda City was speeding. Both the occupants in the sedan were drunk and nearly 3 times over the permissible limit. After climbing an elevated road of a flyover, the car suddenly hit a parked Ford Endeavour. The owner of the SUV was waiting on the side of a flyover, which again, is wrong.

After the City hit the SUV, he lost control of it and hit the railing of the flyover. Due to the high speed and impact, the car jumped over the safety rail and fell about 40 feet down! You can see above the impact of the accident clearly from the dangled remains of the Honda City. Luckily, there were no people below the flyover or any passerby.
The strong build quality of the sedan saved the lives of both the passengers. However, they are still in ICU and battling for their lives. While the Endeavour also received some serious damage, there’s no injury caused to the driver of the SUV. He escaped unhurt but deeply shaked by the incident.
The City here is completely beyond repair. The pillars have been damaged but surprisingly the roof has not come down completely. Rest of the car is fully damaged and even the chassis has twisted. While the front doors have crumpled, they seem to be in a condition where they could have opened by the passengers.
