Here’s a video made by Tata Motors where you can see the mighty Hexa pulling a Boeing 737 Aircraft to showcase its ultimate power!
Tata Hexa might not have shown great sales figures in the past couple of years, however, it is still very popular. Dieselheads, lifestyle SUV buyers and off-road enthusiasts all adore the Hexa. Sadly, we cannot buy a new one right now as it was discontinued owing to the BS6 emission norms.
Here is a video where you can see the Tata Hexa pulling an aircraft. The MPV can be seen pulling off a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, considered among one of the biggest commercial planes around the world. Obviously, the 747 is lot bigger than the 737. This video was made to showcase the torque generation and power production capability of Hexa.

This airplane weighs around 41,000 kilograms that is about 20 times heavier than the Hexa. The MPV got a 2.2 Litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that was offered in two state of tunes. The lower-spec variant produced 150 PS and 320 Nm of peak torque, while the rest of the variants produced 156 PS and 400 Nm of torque.
Hexa came with a rear-wheel-drive configuration and 4X4, the latter reserved for the top-end variant. However, it was low on features that eventually led to its decreasing sales. Features onboard included projector headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls, electric adjustment for driver seat and much more.
At the Auto Expo 2020, Tata Motors showcased the Hexa Safari Edition which will get a BS6 engine. Most likely, we will see the Hexa on the roads again towards the starting of next year. It might be offered in lesser variants than earlier with a competitive pricing range. Earlier, it was priced from Rs 13.70 Lakhs up to Rs 19 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
