A minor from Punjab made good use of the lockdown and made his custom Dracula Motorcycle that uses a 800cc engine from Maruti 800.
Ever wondered how an engine from a car would run on a motorcycle? That’s unheard and unusual, but these guys from Punjab did it. Beating the lockdown blues, these two people made their own customized Dracula Motorcycle that uses an 800cc engine from the old Maruti 800! Interesting, right?
So, this is the handmade Dracula Motorcycle. All the parts have been taken up from different cars and bikes including the exhaust, handlebar, alloys and such. They have made it into a long wheelbase roadster with an upright sitting stance. Some of the elements can also be recognized and from which bikes they come.

The main highlight is the 800cc engine from Maruti 800. The 798cc three-cylinder engine, in its stock condition, produces 40 PS and 59 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The achievable top speed on this bike is about 150-200 km/hr. Also, on the second gear, it can reach a top speed of upto 110 km/hr!
The total cost incurred in making this motorcycle is around Rs 2 Lakhs, excluding the cost of the car. If you hear the noise of the engine, it resembles quite a lot to the Maruti 800. The gearbox can be seen on the right hand side and will be operated by hand. The engineers also calculated its average mileage, which is nearly 20 kmpl.
Both these guys plan to keep this motorcycle to themselves so as to improvise on it. They are open to anyone giving them custom orders for the bike and they will develop one for you. Also, they hope that any company or the government approaches them, so that they receive some support to make it a full fledged process.
