We have already driven the new 2020 Honda City and our review is live on Youtube. The upgraded fifth-generation sedan has been revealed and its bookings have also begun. Honda has confirmed that the launch is scheduled to happen sometime next month. All the details and specifications about it are out as well.
The new City will continue with the same 1.5 Litre i-VTEC and 1.5 Litre i-DTEC diesel engines. The petrol engine will be available with two transmission options including a 6-speed MT and a 7-step CVT. The diesel engine will only get a manual gearbox. Due to changes in the engine, the petrol engine now produces 122 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine continues with the 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque.
Features onboard will include touchscreen infotainment system, Honda Connect internet car technology, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Deflation Warning, Remote Engine Start/Stop and AC Control, New Semi-Digital instrument cluster, Race-car inspired G-Meter, steering mounted audio controls, six airbags, traction control, VSA and much more.

The prices of the City are expected to rise by Rs 50,000 over the existing variants. Reports suggest that the fourth-generation City will be sold alongside and the new generation model will be put as a more premium option. The prices will commence at around Rs 10 Lakhs going easily up to Rs 16 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
