Toyota is offering great discounts on the Glanza and Yaris for the month of June which includes cash discount and exchange bonuses. There’s additional discounts that can be availed by Covid-19 frontline workers.
At the beginning of this Toyota hiked the prices of all their vehicles by varying amount and now the carmaker is giving out several discounts on their cars. Toyota is offering great discounts and benefits on the Glanza hatchback and the Yaris sedan for the month of June. Toyota is just wanting to push sales and encourage customers to buy cars even in these unprecedented times.
The Toyota Glanza is being offered with discounts and benefits worth up to Rs 47,500. To break up this offer for you, Toyota is offering a flat cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an additional Rs 15,000 can be availed as an exchange bonus. On top of this, Toyota is also offering Covid-19 frontline workers such as doctors, police personnel and healthcare teams an additional discount of Rs 17,500 as an appreciation for their effort.
The Toyota Glanza is powered by a 1.2L, naturally aspirated, petrol engine that produces 83bhp and 113Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. You can also opt for the mild-hybrid version of the same engine which takes the power output up to 90bhp. It also has the best-in-class mileage figure. The Glanza competes with the likes of the Hyundai i20, the Tata Altroz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Now coming to the Yaris, Toyota is offering discounts and benefits of as much as Rs 72,500 on the Yaris. The break-up of this offer is similar to that of the Glanza. There’s a flat cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an additional Rs 20,000 that can be availed as exchange bonus. There’s discount for Covid-19 frontline workers on the Yaris too, which is an additional Rs 32,500 that can be availed.

The Toyota Yaris only has the option of a single powertrain in India and that’s a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 107hp and 140Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The Toyota Yaris sits in the mid-size sedan market where it competes against the likes of the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento and the Skoda Rapid.
