In China, the Ford Endeavour now gets a new 2.3 Litre turbo petrol engine along with the same 2.0 litre diesel engine in the India-spec version.
Ford Endeavour is one of the meanest and toughest SUVs that we have in India. It is very popular in most of the markets that it is sold including Europe, China, South Africa and Australia. For the Chinese market, it now gets a new 2.3 Litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine replacing the earlier 2.0 Litre unit.
The new turbo petrol engine produces 275 PS and 455 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a new 10-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The earlier 2.0 Litre turbo petrol unit was good for 240 PS and 360 Nm of peak torque, now seeing a 35 PS and 95 Nm of torque increase. Both the engines come from the same Ecoboost family.

The base two variants come with front-wheel drive as standard. Most of the features and styling elements for India-spec and China-spec Endy remain the same.
Features onboard include panoramic sunroof, semi-auto parallel park assist, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic headlamps, automatic rain sensing wipers, electrically adjustable driver’s seat and much more.
