To ease up the economic conditions for buyers affected due to coronavirus pandemic, Tata Motors is rolling out schemes to help buyers. They have started their online sales platform from where buyers can book their cars online and even purchase them. Now, it has rolled out a new EMI scheme for buyers specifically for Tata Tiago.
If you are looking to buy a new Tata Tiago, you can avail an attractive EMI scheme of just Rs 5,000. With this scheme, you have to pay Rs 5,000 for the first six months as your EMI installed. As the tenure increases, the EMI amount will also increase simultaneously. With just a downpayment of Rs 56,000 and this EMI, you can drive the Tiago home.

As you can see here, if you buy the XE variant you can take a loan of up to Rs 5 Lakhs which is 90% of the total on-road price. After the first six months, you have to pay an EMI of Rs 8,000 for the next six months. Then from the 13th EMI to the 59th EMI, basically 4th year and 11th month’s EMI, will be Rs 11,000. The last EMI will be a hefty amount of Rs 90,000.
Similarly, you can get different schemes for different variants. The EMI amounts, last bullet EMI and downpayment will be different for all. All loans will have a tenure of 5 years as standard. That ensures that the buyer is completely secure about this EMI payments for atleast a year, after which the amount will increase significantly.
Similar schemes have also been started by Hyundai, Maruti and other manufacturers. In the case of Hyundai, you can defer your EMI payments by three months and start paying from the fourth month itself. The extra interest will be adjusted and your loan tenure will be further increased by 3 months.

Tiago is now a petrol-only hatchback with a 1.2 Litre three-cylinder petrol engine. The unit produces 86 PS and 113 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT. The prices of Tiago start at Rs 4.6 Lakhs up to Rs 6.59 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
