Triumph will be only be building 250 units of the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition for the entire world. The special edition motorcycle has been priced at $18,500 in the United States which translates to approximately Rs 14 lakh in Indian currency (ex-showroom). Let’s look a little closer at what’s so special about this Bond Edition motorcycle.
The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition is based on a Scrambler 1200 XE. The specialty starts with the paint job with its jet black color scheme which has been beautifully contrasted with brush metal finished components. That itself is enough to give the motorcycle a mean and sinister look. Further, the headlight grille gets a stainless steal treatment. The standard twin-exhausts have been swapped for new Arrow units with carbon-fiber end caps and the heat shield has a 007 engraving on it. The large Triumph logo on the fuel tank and the brushed metal knee guard are very cool touches indeed.

The rest of the motorcycle is pretty much identical to the stock Scrambler 1200 XE. It belongs to Triumph’s Bonneville family of motorcycles and is one of the best retro looking scramblers out there. The motorcycle is powered by a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that is tuned to make 90PS at 7400rpm and 110Nm of torque at 3950rpm. The engine has a 270 degree crank that gives it better low end grunt and also the characteristic rumble of a V-twin motor. We really cant wait to see the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition and all other fancy automobiles in full action in ‘No Time To Die.’
