Here is a digital imaginative rendering of Hyundai Verna convertible. Hyundai recently launched the facelifted sedan with new engines and more features.
A couple of weeks ago, Hyundai launched the 2020 Verna facelift. The sedan gets a refreshed styling, new features, three new BS6 engines and even different transmission options. The sedan received an update last in 2017, when the new generation Verna was launched. Currently, it is in its third generation for the Indian market.
Here’s a youtube video showing the digital rendering of Hyundai Verna facelift. It is one of the most stylish sedans in its segment and to top it, Verna receives a convertible treatment. This Hyundai Verna convertible looks very ravishing and will find immediate attraction from buyers.
In the rendering, there are very few changes made. The designer has changed the design of alloy wheels, removed the roof and added some decals on the side doors. Rest of the car looks the same as the current model. If you look closely, you might find some resemblance to the premium cabriolets and convertibles like the Audi A3.

The new Verna gets reshaped bumpers, larger front grille, new headlamp design and different alloy wheels. At the back, there’s only refreshed LED tail light. Inside the cabin, there’s a slightly different steering wheel, new touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. The interiors have been more tweaked than the exterior.
New engine options include 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines from Seltos and a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit from Venue. The petrol engine and diesel engine produce 115 PS. The turbo petrol unit produces 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 7-speed DCT as standard. The other two engines get a 6-speed MT as standard. Additionally, the petrol variants get a CVT and the diesel ones go with a 6-speed AT.
Features onboard include six airbags, Automatic headlamps, height-adjustable driver seat, electric sunroof, rearview monitor, wireless phone charger, 20.32 cm Touchscreen system with Blue Link technology, paddle shifters and ventilated seats. Safety features include rear disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, ESC and much more.

The prices of Verna now start at Rs 9.30 Lakhs up to Rs 15.10 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). Soon, Honda is going to launch the new generation City which will get a couple of features more than the Verna. The latter will continue with the same engines but completely different styling.
