Its just the third day of the third month of 2020 and Mercedes-Benz have already launched their third product in India for 2020. After launching the AMG GT 63 S 4-door Coupe and V-Class Marco Polo camper van at Auto Expo 2020 in February, the German carmaker has now launched the GLC Coupe facelift in India. Interestingly, before this facelift, Mercedes-Benz only offered the GLC Coupe in India in its top-spec AMG 43 guise. It has been on sale for quite some years now and this is the first time that a non-AMG GLC Coupe has been launched in India. This newly launched standard GLC Coupe is by the way now locally assembled here as well.
Mercedes has launched the GLC Coupe facelift in India in two iterations – the GLC 300 and the GLC 300d. The former, as mentioned before gets a price of Rs 62.70 lakhs while the latter has been priced at Rs 63.70 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). At this price, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe facelift is priced on par with the BMW X4, its rival-in-chief.
The GLC Coupe facelift features all the changes that we last saw with the standard GLC facelift. Exterior updates include revised headlights, tail lamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, front and rear bumpers as well as a new grille. The sloping roofline for this Coupe-SUV has been particularly well executed and you can’t help but admire this SUV in profile.
