The 2020 Hyundai Creta gets completely new interiors which is dominated by a large landscape oriented 10.25-inch screen and also gets digital instrument cluster.
Hyundai debut the next-gen 2020 Creta at the Auto Expo this year but the show car at the event came with tinted windows, not revealing the interiors of the car. A couple of days later we reported you with spy shots of the interiors of the 2020 Hyundai Creta. And now, Hyundai has released official sketch images of the interiors of the Creta to confirm the same.
The 2020 Hyundai Creta gets a completely new interior layout which is also very different from the China-spec Creta interiors that we were speculating would come to India. The company also confirmed that the new Creta’s exterior styling is based on the brand’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design theme that will also be seen on the next-gen i20 hatchback that was unveiled internationally earlier today. The new i20 will come to India later this year.
Just like we had seen in the spy images, and the sketch confirms the same, the dashboard is dominated by a large landscape oriented 10.25-inch screen. The China-spec model came with a portrait-oriented screen. This new infotainment screen has been positioned below the new AC vents. In the previous-gen model, the AC vents flanked the infotainment screen on either side. The AC vents on either sides have also been completely redesigned and they look much sleeker and sophisticated that before.
Another major change is the new four-spoke steering wheel which we also expect will make it into the upcoming i20. It’s loaded with controls on steering wheel for audio, Bluetooth telephony and cruise control. There’s also a fully digital instrument cluster now which will also be making its way in the new 120 and we expect it to offered on the updated Verna as well.

The new-gen Creta also continues dual-tone upholstery and that’s quite pleasing. The AC control stack has also been revised and it gets new switch gear. The center console also gets a new electronic parking brake – a first for the Creta. Other features on offer include automatic climate control, cooled seats, wireless charging and a panoramic sunroof can also be expected, at least on the top-spec variants.

The next-gen 2020 Hyundai Creta will be powered by a BS6-compliant, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. Its the same engine that debuted in the Kia Seltos. Both the engines produce about 115bhp and the petrol engine will most likely come mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The diesel will most likely be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox option. Hyundai could also introduce the Seltos’ 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine, with 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox options at a later stage. Hyundai is expected to open bookings for the Creta soon, ahead of its market launch on March 17, 2020.
