Reports suggest that Maruti is going to update the Dzire with a minor facelift, including some cosmetic changes and a new infotainment system.
Maruti launched the third generation Dzire back in 2017. Since then, it has not received any major upgrade. The first Dzire that came was longer than 4 metres but came at a very affordable price. The next one went a bit smaller and the third generation is now sportier.
Reports suggest that Maruti Dzire will get a facelift by the month of April. It will be just a mid-cycle facelift to keep the sales of the sedan on track. Changes will include revisions to the front bumpers, refreshed seat upholstery material and dashboard theme.
Maruti will also offer the new SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with the Dzire Facelift. The new system is quicker and smoother than the previous one. The system will be enabled with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice Recognition.

Other than the mentioned changes, there would be nothing else added. It will continue with its BS6 compliant 1.2 Litre K12B petrol engine. The motor produces 83 PS and 113 Nm of peak torque, paired to a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AGS (AMT).
Earlier, it used to be available with the 1.3 Litre DDiS diesel engine as well. The engine produced 74 BHP and 190 Nm of peak torque. The upcoming BS6 norms led to discontinuation of the engine and from now, Dzire will be a petrol-only sedan.
Features onboard Dzire include LED projector headlamps, diamond-cut alloy wheels, Engine Start-Stop Button, Rear AC Vents, Auto Climate Control, Electric ORVMs, Reverse Parking Sensors with a Rear View Camera and Dual Front Airbags.
